Well, I recently got a new system, and I'm having problems installing the drivers for my video card. My comp specs are:
Athlon XP 1800+
512 MB DDR RAM
Asus A7N266
Asus GeForce 4 Ti 4200

Now, when I try to install the drivers from the CD that came with the vido card, I get an error that says something along the lines of "This software has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatability with Windows XP." It gives me the choice of either cancelling the install, or continuing anyway. Well, I continued anyway, and then another couple of the same error messages came up. Continued still. At the end, it restarted my computer so that the changes could take effect, but when the computer restarts, it doesn't load fully and I end up with a black screen.

I'm not exactly sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure you are selecting Windows XP drivers and not Windows 98, ME, NT, or 2000? Go to the nVidia website and download the latest Detonator drivers for XP. I have a G4-Ti4200 with that same mobo, and they installed fine.

Don't use the drivers on the disk since they're not certified to work with XP. You'll have to suck it up if you have a slow internet connection and download the recent drivers for XP/2000 from nvidia here -
