GeForce4 MX460

What is the deal with the GeForce 4 MX series? I ask because I used to have a Creative GeForce3 Ti200 and was happy. Unfortunately it broke recently and the shop has apparently replaced it with a GeForce4 MX460. I have read that the GeForce4 MX cards are based on the GeForce2 cards and are not as good as the GeForce3, let alone the Geforce4 Ti series. Am I being ripped off / shafted ?

It's just that they're not DX8 compliant. In terms of performance in most games, the MX460 will probabl equal to slightly outperform your previous card, but in DX8 games, it'll really be lacking/not playable.
