Cammanche4 for one. I mean, it's also fast for the price and it'll be good for the future. Would you rather buy a $70 card now, then upgrade to another $70 card in 6 months? It's a great price/performance ratio, therefore a good buy, unless you haven't got the money of course.

i dont really want to buy high-end graphics cards like G4ti4600 or radeon 9700 cuz for one thing they are expensive and still maturing so ill wait until those cards get to a lower cost or when games need that kinda power. I dont like the fact that a new vid card is coming out every 6 months cuz games are not even optimised for hardware like GF3 or R8500 yet then videocards like GF4, NV30, and R9700 jus come out to set a new standard leaving technical marvels like GF3 and R8500 in the past. i believe that when a videocard comes out it doesnt mean you have to get it. cuz if every 6 months u dish out $300-$400 ur gonna get poor fast(although satisfied u can run Doom 3 at 200fps:)

-A game that runs 60fps @ 1600x1200 is the same as that game running at 200fps at the same resolution.

Morrowind definitely makes use of pixel shaders. I just receieved that $87 R8500 from newegg and it comes clocked at 250/275. I was considering waiting for the R9700, but it'll be too expensive and be an overkill. I can pull off 9100 3Dmarks(2001) with that card and my system highly optimized. It's a 1.2GHz Tbird at 1.46GHz, 146MHz FSB with the RAM at the tightest settings (Crucial PC2100), KT333 mobo, and the card at 288/320. That isn't too shabby after recycling my old processor and RAM then upgrading the mobo/video card. Running everything stock I get about 7600 3Dmarks(2001). Running the RAM at the tightest settings makes a HUGE difference. Oh yeah, and to the question. Morrowind looks absolutely amazing with the pixel shaders. I guess it depends on what games you play though. Older games like RTCW, QuakeIII.. I can hardly tell a difference between my old Radeon64MBVIVO and my new card. Well, besides being able to run them smoothly at 1600x1200 vs 1024x768 and Truform does make the characters in RTCW look much better. I'd imagine that all the newer games in the fall/winter will probably make good use of pixel shaders.
