I think that my PNY geforce 4 ti 4400 is over heating, but I don't have any sort of utility to check its temperature. Is there a good program for that sort of thing that i can download?

Frankly speaking, temperature is not sense through programs. It needs a sensor on your board to check that. If your board does not have the temperature sensor, you cannot check them. Maybe you can get a universal multimeter that comes with temperature measurement to check that.

Better yet, run your favorite game for 10 minutes and leave it running, pull the cover off and feel the heat sink, if its real hot you have a problem, mine feels like about room temp, this way you don't have to spent 50 bucks and 5 hours setting up a temp sensor system.

Generally speaking, if pc components feel real hot to the touch they're too hot.

Yea i know, most people don't stick fingers in running pc's, just be careful.
