I recently got a virus from a download and norton stopped it before it downloaded all the way but the only option I had was to quarantine it and delete it. Now...just wondering if it took any of my critical 32 files because it said it was a Jeefo32 or something like that? If it did...how do I find the missing file once I deleted it and how can i replace it? I really don't want to reformat my hard drive and install windows XP again.

are you haveing any problems? lockups errors or anything.
If not then dont worry about it. the file deleted was the actuall virus and not an important windows file.

no lockups or anything....actually I heard about using my command prompt and typing SFC /SCANNOW and inserting my windows xp disk and thats the file checking for xp so that ran successfully so I'm assuming everything is all good.
