I've built two ThrowBarbs so far (in SP). But I've always used flying
axes like Gimmershred's or crafted Blood axe. My current Throwbarb (level
84) uses Gimmer's and a 412%ED crafted flying axe (337 max damage).

Max Battle Orders, Throwing Mastery and Double Swing. At first, only 1
point in Double Throw, as it only increases AR. If you need more AR in
Hell, it might be more efficient to pack charms with around 100AR, as
this translates to 400-500AR total. DT only gives 10%AR per skill point.

I have Concentrate as secondary attack, as it already receives synergy
points from Battle Orders. Kingslayer runeword in a Small Crescent axe is
a nice boss killer, as it also gives you the Vengeance attack skill.

Double Swing is a bad second attack, as it has no damage itself. You
would need to put points in a second weapon mastery and Bash to get it up
to speed.
