Just a question, i've lately been noticing that on my HC character he's been
getting overcharged with repairs. Each time i've gone to repair his item it
may say that repairing all will cost 610 gold and yet be carrying on him
3241. Now i hit repair all and yet even though he's carrying more than
enough it's taking all of his gold from what he's carrying on him aswell as
a small amount from his stash.

Has anyone else had that problem?

If you use repair all it also repairs your weapon switch items
so i would check them.

Are you wearing a "superior" item, or are you using any charges on an
item? They cost an awful lot to repair.

Although he does say that it costs 610 to "repair all" so I assume that
figure should stay the same regardless of any equipment.

To the OP: are you sure you are putting your cursor over the "repair
all" and not just a single item? (forgive me if that sounds stupid, but
it's things like this that always get me)

I'm wearing Spirit and Ancients Pledge but they are made from low level
items. I always check stuff yet it's never totalling over what it suggests
for Repair All. I don't use my weapon switch alot unless i have an item or
so that boosts my Holy Shield above that of what i use.

I don't use charges from items unless it was something like Metalgrid. I
know that one is worth it and even then it's very rare because of the costs
involved to repair them.

"Superior" does not mean low level or high level, but rather grey
items that have increased defense/durability (armour) or increased
AR/durability (weapons). They behave like normal items, but the little
bonus makes them expensive in repairs. I once dared to make Duress in
a superior scarab shell, and each durability point cost 90k repairs
*gulp*.

let it wear down until there are only a point or 2 of durability on it,
then use a RAL rune (or a RAL + flawless if you have charges to repair).

Actually a flawed, not a flawless. And the problem has dissolved due
to Hannes taking care of it in a quite unexpected way *funny sidelook
across the table*.
