Howdy.. I built a system about 4 months ago. and gave it to my father. When I visited him for Xmas he told me he was having problems since I gave it to him.

Basicly he's running a p2-350 128 megs of ram, TnT1, no sound card. (not sure what the motherboard is)

There are a few problems and I think they are all linked together in some way. Alright when he's playing this game he likes sometimes it starts to get really choppy, (even the log - in screen to the game is choppy) Once he gets out of that windows runs fine, he restarts his computer, and sometimes it either restarts fine, or right before it loads up windows it will stop and all there is, is a white line on the top left hand of the screen the flashes. He will restart the computer again and It will have deleted his drivers for his video card. So he has to install those again and pray that he can get back into windows without it having problems.

I havent tried formating his computer, cause im not sure if that will help at all. Could it be the video card? any suggestions would help..

Also one last question, when he starts up his computer it a error will come up - Rundll - cannot find bcmhal9x.dll

Anyways thanks again for your time

Reinstall windows. If that don't work, switch to Windows 2000 or XP ( I assume you're running 98?)
