Gotta Dell P3-733mhz, will I have any issues or problems (or slowdowns) by getting a GeForce4 4200 128MB - or should I get the GF3 Ti200 128Mb. (or the 64MB vers of each?) I like UT, but also want crisp 2d as well. I don't want the Ti4200 to slow down my processor - but would like to run the upcoming UT2003...

Also - will I need these: lag patch.. sound patch, what are they?

Please advise:

Dell Dimension 4100
Pentium III - 733Mhz
384 MB RAM
40GB HD
TNT2M64
SB Live Value Digital

Also, should I get a GAINWARD card?

It will run fine on your system. In fact, if you look at this data, you can see that video cards are often far more important than CPU's for 3D performance. The card won't "slow down" your computer, and in some cases your computer will barely even "slow down" the card! BTW, you can always upgrade to a PIII 1000EB later if you like.

Will my P3-733Mhz (4xAGP) be able to take advantage of the 128MB memory on a TI4200, or should I get the 64mb version?

Well, the thing is that there aren't many applications that can USE 128MB of video ram right now, in fact many games run slightly faster on the 64MB cards.
