How many points can I get from 3Dmark2001se 1024X768 32bit under the base:Tualatin 1.2G,256M,815et,GF2Ti(core/memory 250/440),WinXP?
I got only 1140 points! I suspected that my graphic card was not GF2Ti.

I actually don't know anything about3mark scores or how much you should get, etc except that my g4 gets 10,842!

But from memory, and from looking at benchmarks with gf2 ti scores, I'd say you should have got atleast double the score, or more. Have you enabled fast writes for AGP in BIOS. Also make sure your AGP is set to 2x, and the aperature size is 64 or even 128 is okay. Also, have you downloaded the recent 30.x detonator drivers from nvidia?

Anyone else, ideas?

I can get that result even using my GF2 MX400 on my P3 1GHz. Are you sure that you don’t have anything running in the background during the benchmark? And your card is running at 4X agp speed? Try getting a newer driver. If your core clock is rated at 250MHz, it’s very likely that it is GF2 Ti because the rest of the GF2 other than Ultra, they are all clocked at 200MHz.

There are so much parameter on graphic card AGP. Although I didn't know about them at all, I should adjust them and test again.

Hi, i get around 3250 points at 3Dmark2001, Defaults settings. My system is a PIII-933Mhz,320MB RAM,BX440 chipset mobo, GF2Ti (250/400), Win98. I'm using the 21.81 drivers. I believe with your system settings you should be getting a similar score. Check, if you have Anti-aliasing enabled.Close any progs running in backround such as Norton Antivirus etc. Also download Rivatuner which is a great tunning software for your Geforce.
If your core/memory settings are 250/440 i guess it's a Titanium, the MX series from what i know don't reach easily those speeds.

Way too low! Load the Intel Chipset drivers so that AGP will function correctly. Get the installer utility below.

Natport and Surveyor your scores are both really low

P3 800MHZ
512 PC800 RDRAM
Geforce2 MX 440

I score around 2500-3000

Something must be wrong if I'm beating a P4 1.8GHZ computer. Time to ugprade your vid card natport. But then again take these benches too seriously... They can be misleading.

remember people, things like zonealarm, or maybe even a quick launch bar, or even your cdwriter crap will slow your system.

all i have is zonealarm running, oh and my internet icon.

and i get No lag.

best bet, goto into run, type msconfig, once in there disable most crap you dont need.

next run that 3d mark stuff.

The scores you guys mentioned is on what texture size? If you let it be compressed texture, the points would be lower than 16 bits texture and higher than 32 bits even it is the same 1024x768x32bit resolution. Another thing is the different type of Ram that you are using. One use SDRAM and another RDRAM, for sure the RDRAM’s higher. Another thing is whether you overclock your system or not as well as the driver you are using.

You may compare the benchmark result with Toms VGA chart at: http://www17.tomshardware.com/graphic/02q2/020418/vgacharts-05.html.

It was benchmarked using Athlon XP2000+.
