I have a question about some 3DMark2001 SE scores..
I'm running a PNY Geforce4 t4200 64mb(250mhz core/500mhz ram)on an Athlon 2100+, 512mb DDR 333, winXP Pro system.
I've run 3D Mark 5 times now and my scores range from 3200-5300.
According to PNY, the ti4200 64mb should score around 7800.
A few other websites have shown scores of 8500-9500

Anyone have any ideas why my score is so low? I used to score a Geforce2GTS Pro on the same Athlon system.. It's score was higher than my geforce4's!
Maybe the AGP voltage? I have an AGP Pro slot using 1.55 volts. Perhaps that's too low?
Any ideas at all will be greatly appreciated.

I've heard that if you don't download the AGP drivers... like the VIA 4-in-1s and such. Check that, also check AGP4X. 1.55V isn't low, it's actually over the 1.5V that it's supposed to be, unless AGP PRO slots give more voltage...

with your setup, you should be getting 9000+ at LEAST. i'm running on a Xp1.6+ 256mb, DDR266 and radeon 8500 64mb retail, and after bios tweak and driver tweak, i was able to hit 8600 no problem. make sure you install all the latest driver, for your video card, mobo, directx 8.1....etc
and load optimal setting in your bios, also disable vsync for both openGL and directx
