I've read somewhere that its good performances were due to some "turbo" filtering mode, resulting in a poor image quality... But it was some time ago, dont know if it has been corrected though.
I just installed one on my friend's rig..it was by PowerColor
He got 7100 on 3DMARK 2K1
its a P4 2.0A/256RDRAM/ on a MSI 850 mobo...it's not bad at all..for its price...
BTW...how can i setup his D3D and OGL properties???
There is no control panel with the drivers???...only setting up video out and resolution gamma...bla bla bla...
It's true. The Xabre claims as one of its most outstanding features to be better anti-aliasing image quality. In particular they claim that they have removed the "Dancing Pixel" problem. But it turns out to be a hack job and not much image quality is improved at all. The drivers still suffer from occasional graphical errors in games. Why get a Xabre 400 or Parhelia-512 when you can have dedicated driver teams from ATi and nVidia waiting on you hand and foot and releasing upgrades every few weeks?
