No Video, Please HELP!!!

Hey guys, I just finished building a system. These are some of the things I put into the system: Gigabyte- 8iexp, ati 9000, 80gig hd, 512 ddr 2100.

I flipped the power on for the first time and got nothing on the monitor. No, bios... nothing... I know the monitor works, but everything else is brand new... Also, to my surprise, i didnt hear any beep codes... I investigated further, and found that my front displays were connected correctly to the motherboard. I did get the hd, power, and reset lights... But again, no beep codes???

Conclusion: Im thinkin I have a faulty video card and speader on the chasis... Is there anything that i am overlooking? Please help

What is your monitor ? LCD or CRT ?

Check to make sure no part of the mobo is touching the case (refer to the mobo FAQ for further explanation).

My sig's faster than yours, and it overclocks better too....
