Are there any Nextel phones that will work on T-Mobile service?

Well, the short answer is no. They are 2 different systems. Nextel is
IDEN and t-mobile is GSM.

Well, there might be ONE phone sold by Nextel that MAY work on
T-Mobile's network:

http://nextelonline.nextel.com/NAS [...] oneLanding

The problem is that it was specifically meant to use a Nextel SIM on GSM
networks only. It's a GSM phone that won't work on Nextel's network.
Basically, they sell it for folks who travel internationally on a
frequent basis.
