I've looked over every bit of info on the 9000 series and TruForm is nowhere to be found. I believe this made a difference in the images I saw in many Gorey, Smokin' Gun games -You Know The Ones- on the 8500, so will the 9000 support TruForm or Not? Games like RTCW offer the option to turn it on or off, so that's why I'm asking.

Yes, the R9000 has Truform. The R9000 supports everything the R8500 does plus some FullStream support. However, the R9000 only have 1 TMU so it's slower than the R8500 in older games. Newer games will take advantage of the loopback feature so it will be less of a problem in the future.

Yea, I saw the 9000 get its butt kicked in a July comparison between the 8500, Ti 4200, Mx cards, Sis chips and all. The 8500 smoked it in most tests and they compare the 9000 to the 7500 as it's predecessor which is strange.

I read on a comparison at Hard OCP between the 8500 and the 9000 that there is a change in the hardware config, and now TruForm is Software driven on the 9000, as opposed to being hardware driven on the 8500.
