ATI 8500

I have an Ati Radeon 8500, im having problems on 2 games so far. The first game was the army game from usarmy.com and the second is neverwinter nights. The whole screen on the army game is distorted and only the charecters on neverwinter nights is distorted the background looks great. Any suggestions??? My system is a 1900xp athlon on a asus motherboard with 40hd, 1.5 gig ddr ram, 52x creaive cd, and sound blaster audigy live.

i PLAY NW a lot with my 8500 there is no issue except no support for shiny water.Update your driver ATI.com.

I own a "Powered by" ATi Radeon 8500 LE 128MB (built by Hercules). The games (especially NWN) look great! If only I got the chance to play them!!! I have a truckload of problems eversince I installed the card. I get blue screens, sudden lock-ups, files that cannot be found even though they ARE on my HDD, etc. The most frustrating thing is, that reinstalling everything doesn't solve the problem. I can't even get to work because I'm solving problems all the time. No-one has been able to help me so far. If anyone can, PLEEZE DO!!!!
