HI there,

since i recently found my first Windforce aver i decided to build a Zon
around it...

She i already at level 38 or so, and now i really have to decide where
to put those skill points :)

I have been looking at the weapon speed tables for the Hydra bow and i
could reach max speec (120ias and 2fpa) with strafe with Multishot i
would only reach 9fpa (with 89+ias).

I am pretty sure that i will use the freezing arrow as a secondary
skill, but now i have to decide on that main skill :)

So far my equipment plans include stuff that gives me good ias:
Windforce (of course) 20ias
Highlords amu: 20ias
Laying of Hands: 20ias
Crow Craw: 15ias
Stealskull: 10ias and dual leech
Nosferatus: 10ias
that gives me 95ias with 3 open sockets.

If i put 2 ias jewels (if possible with nice secondary mods on) in there
i am at max strafe speed, but for Multishot i could go with 3 damage
enhancing jewels (probably ED in the 30+ region).

So, did i overlook some equipment or is my thinking flawed in any other
ways? :)
And which skill would you suggest as main attack and why?

Thanks for your time :)

Hansi

My guild has a website with alot of D2 links on it.
You might find the link at top about charcter builds useful :)

From having built a strafer, and gotten her to lvl 97, ehcl, I don't
feel that max IAS is needed for strafe. Most of her time was with WF
and the only additional IAS can from Laying of Hands. Still using laying
of hands.
She went thru hell using WF, Kiras, Lionheart, Atma's scarab, Laying of
Hands, Ravenfrost, Carrion wind, T-gods, and Goreriders. Once I could
afford it, I switched to COH. Once the new runewords came out, and I
got a LO rune, I switched to Fortitude.
Wartravs are a good option also, because of the added damage. I use GA
as a secondary skill. I can easily kill anything that isn't PI. PI
require the Amp from Atma's to trigger. Giving merc reapers makes this
a bit easier.
As long as you have the dex and the AR this build can solo hell Baal
runs (assuming max valk also) The hardest part is if the witches spawn
in the second level. The are PI and ranged. You can take allot of
damage till the amp triggers. a work around (and the extra AR is nice)
is have a chantress in game, or use Demon Limb.
