Hi all.

I have a Linksys Router with built in 10/100 4-port switch.
Sometimes I loose my ip from the router. If I switch to assiged IP's and not DHCP, will I be loosing any of the security I get from having a router ? Will my ISP or the outside world be able to see my LAN ?

it will be the same as DHCP security-wise.
