How to check my fps in unreal tournament 2k3?

Yes, I do know that there is a thread about this. That thread however is for the demo version. I have the full version and there is no BENCHMARK folder. Can someone tell me the command that I have to type in to check my fps?

Pull down console (`), type STAT FPS.

That doesn't work. The console doesn't come down when i press the ` key. do you have to add something to the shortcut?

How can it not go down?
Perhaps you could find something in the manual. Usually the key next to the number 1 is always the console drop down. Try it in the menu and in-game.

hit TAB, it's a quick console. a cursor thing should pop up in the lower/mid left corner.
