Does +36 to all resistances (in shield) means that it resists magic
too ?
Or maybe Ancient's Pledge would be better as it offers:
cold resist + 43
fire resist +48%
lightning resist +48%
poison resist +48%
I just got 3 socket shield and wonder which would be better -
The Ward with all resistances +36
or to make Ancient's Pledge in Blade Barrier ?.

All suggestions welcome.

Socket the Ward and put in a Pdiamond for even more resistances. This
tends to free up your inventory from carrying a whole bunch of resist
charms, so you have room to pick stuff up again.

Nope, "magic" damage is in a category by itself. Being at 85/85/85/85
doesn't help a bit against Bone Spirits. :)
