The AIW Radeon 8500 DV is a wealth of goodies, but the GPU is clocked down from the original Radeon 8500. Since it's the same chip, it shouldn't have any trouble getting clocked back up to original speeds.

The problem, I don't know of any software for overclocking ATI GPU's. As such, I don't know where to find it, or how to use it. A little help please.

Thanks for the location. I'll check out the software and get back to you if I have any problems.

Went to www.rage3d.com and found five products, though I couldn't get to one of them. Ahywho, I see a bunch of requirements along the lines of "Don't use with catalyst drivers." and "Made for driver set 7.70 and earlier (pre-catalyst)."

Which software should I use? Let's assume for the moment that I won't give up my catalyst drivers.

Haven't been keeping track of that. Does Powerstrip have the same limitation? I don't think it does.
