After playing Diablo II since February, I finally killed Diablo
yesterday with a Druid (werewolf/summoner build)!! It took about a dozen
trips back to town, and had to sell some gems to buy more potions, but I
finally got to see him go down.

I have to admit, once I learned to distribute skill points to meet a
goal or build, and not to spread them out over all the character skills,
it made advancing more fun and productive.

I am now putting together a summoner Necromancer and a nekked Druid on
the Battlenet, haven't yet run into a PK (crossing fingers).

I know some of the writers/creators are on this listserve, and I wanted
to thank them for creating an enjoyable game!!

I had despaired after losing my Daggerfall disk of finding a
role-playing game I WANTED to play, but Diablo II LOD is great!

Looking forward to meeting Baal...

Sandra

Congratulations.. I too lost my Daggerfall disk at one stage when i moved
house. But i was a Diablo player. The the release of Diablo II came out and
BOOM, i had to buy it. When LOD came out i was 3rd in the store, 1st to buy
it... LoL!... Myself along with about 25 others were waiting outside the
store when it was being released. We had all pre-paid for the game so only
had to provide reciepts really. Welcome to the D2 LOD world.

I've often thought of camping outside the shop when a new game is being
released that I want... but I just like my bed too much :¬s
