I got a score of only 4845 in 3Dmark2001 SE, this seems way too low for my system specs.

Here is my system:

AMD Athlon XP 2000+
512MB (333mhz) DDR RAM
Geforce 4 Ti 4600 128MB
80GB maxtor 7200rpm HDD
Windows XP pro

isn't this score way too low for my system specs?

if you have a via chipset on your mobo, also install the latest 4in1 drivers from via.

definately too low, double it & it is still too low... I think U have a 'problem' lad...

no-one shouts louder than someone who is being ignored, or in the case of techies, to be heard over the noise of their PC's ;-)

Go to Display Properties/Settings/Advanced/Geforce Ti4600/Additional Properties. Make sure Anti-Aliasing is set to OFF. Click on the Direct 3D tab. Click on Restore Defaults. Click Apply. Locate the button More Direct3D and click on it. Set Vertical Sync to Always Off. Click Apply/OK. Keep clicking OK to exit out of all Display Properties screens. Now run 3D Mark benchmark again. Be sure all the 3D Mark settings are at Default.
Basically, if you had Anti-Aliasing or other fancy display settings then your 3D Mark scores will be rather low.....

Since I'm getting 9557 with a GeForce3 Ti500 I would think so. Not sure how much the CPU, memory and HDD play into this figure. I am running a 2.8 Intel, 512 of PC1066 memory and WD1200JB with this card.
