socketing mercs spire of honor

merc has spire of honor, gemmed giant conch with 2 pruby and corpsmourne
what would you recommend to put in spire?
i was thinking an amn rune for life leech.
would that help him survive longer?
his lvl 78 btw might merc doing 700-2000+ damage with aura on

p.s. i'm playing SP so please be reasonable with suggestions

Extra ll is always a good thing on mercs.
I would go with the amn.
