Asus, MSI, Leadtek, Gainward, and Chaintech are all said to make good products. If you wanna save some money, get a Ti 4200 and overclock. The MSI Retail w/VIVO has the best overclocking ability and at about $135, it has a great price. On average you can get a Ti 4200 to overclock to at least a stock Ti 4400. Anywhere from 250/500(default) to 320/610(MSI...very loud HSF though). But on average you should easily be able to get 275/550 w/ the stock fan.

BTW, Asus are very expensive.

Good luck.

Probably no hugely significant price cut. If NV30 is the top dog, the card that'll get cut most is the 9700. The 4600 will move down a bit, but will probably get discontinued because it doesn't really have a market. Manufacturing costs are too high to make it a low-mid range card, where the 4200 is still nvidia's best bet.

If the 4600 is not top dog, it has to be the affordable alternative to the top dog. This role will be filled by the 9700 (or 9500?) when NV30 and R350 hit the street, and the 4600 will probably go away.
