What to do now?

So, my computer crashed. I'm completely rebuilding the HD, and decided
not to save my SP chars.

Lost a couple of sets (IK, Tal's, Orphans), and some uniques (Arkaines,
Shaft, etc). Ohwell. At least I'm not losing an SOJ

I still have two HCL chars -- will I be able to reinstall D2 and LOD,
grab 1.10 patch, and still login to my acct?

Should I just say #*@&!( it all, and start playing one of the mods?
Can one play modded d2lod on bnet?
