It even tells you your ip.

But remember:

For x members in a LOD-LAN game,
your need x DIFFERENT CD-keys !

AFAIK, different CD-keys are only required for closed BNET. What I know
for sure is that you can play 8 player lan games with a single CD key.

I think that if you have yourself a LAN setup correctly it can have 8
players running off 1 CDKey... Personally i haven't got one setup so i can't
guarentee it.. A LAN setup that is... LoL!

I can vouch for playing two-player games (TCP/IP, Wireless LAN) with 1
CD key using a no-cd patch.

yup, i think thats right. i played with my friend with the same cd key
over tcp/ip. only difference between tcp/ip and lan is that you have to
enter the internal ip not the external ip
