Asus V8420 Problems

I have been having problems with this card since I installed it. When I try to play any type of game it freezes then I get a blue screen of death which says my system is dumping physical memory. It also says that my nv4_disp.dll is the cause of the problem.

I am running
Windows XP Home
AMD Athlon XP 2100+
512 MB PC2700 DDR
Asus A7V-333

Any help would be appreciated

What version are your card's drivers?Try using Nvidia's detonator 30.82.I wouldn't advise you to use 40.41.All though they are much faster they are still beta

I use the same card (Asus GF4 Ti 4200 128Mb) on a Gigabyte Mobo (7VRXP) without any problems. My mobo is a Rev 2.0 the rev 1 and 1.1 boards had a serious issue with GF4 cards. Go here:<A HREF="http://www.asusboards.com/" target="_new">http://www.asusboards.com/</A> and search through their mobo and their vid card forums to see if there is a fix (Mobo Bios Update Maybee).
