Not restarting pc

Hi,
My pc does not want to restart corect . At restart it shows me a black screen ( select a proper boot device...), i tryed to select but , none of the shown devices ( hdd, floppy & dvd )seems to be the right one.. Btw my os = windows 7, and i can not see hdd partitions in bios .
Please help me !

check the cable (sata,ide) or the power cable.
change if necessary.

Assuming you werent carrying your computer around in your trunk or somethign... it's highly unlikely the cables to the floppy, HDD, and dvd all came out. As noted, check them... If you didn't change anything on your computer right before that happend, then you have a motherboard issue
