Hello

I tried to set up my Wireless network. Unfortunately I could not reach
the point that netgear does communicate with my prestige ADSL Router.
So I would like to know if this is a generic compatibility problem
between both suppliers or if it also could be with an option of the
wireless settings.

I have the following components
- Zyxel Prestige 650HW (ADSL Router with Wirless Network 802.11b)
- Netgear W602 (Wireless Access Point, Switch, 802.11g)

Settings:
Netgear is working in the 802.11b Mode with the same Speed as the
Zyxel Router (11Mbs). All the devices have the newest availalbe
firmware. The devices are using all the same channel 1 / 2412MHz and
no WEP Encryption. All devices have the same ESSID. All devices using
the same RTS/CTS Threshold and Fragmentation Threshold
2346

Problem:
I like to use netgear as an access point from ethernet to wireless
media, with computers which do not have a wireless card. But both
wireless devices (zyxel and netgear) do not find the network from each
other, they complain that no other device is in the wireless network
available. If I connect with my Sony VAIO Notebook with its internal
wireless card I could connect either to netgear or to zyxel (if I turn
off one of those devices).

So what could I do do find out what the problems could be?
Thank you in advance for any helpful hints.
regards
Mark
