I don't think you can. And I don't suspect you ever will be able to. ATI is known for not releasing BIOS updates (I believe)

I think we will be stuck with the current BIOS.

You can download Radeonator 2.0 Beta 2, this nifty little program will allow you to overclock, and it is 9700 backward compatible.

I am using it on my AIW8500 with no probs...

A 433W power supply is nice, but is it any good? There are some truely crappy power supplies out there that have nice high W, but then have crap for decent amperage on the various rails. So is it a cheap 433W power supply, or is it a good solid brand name? And do you have any voltage monitoring software so that you can see if any of your rails are dipping into the unstable range?

Not bagging on your psu, but what brand is it?

P4's will draw and demand alot of power.

Is the new psu P4 CERTIFIED? You most ensure that it is.

You will not have any stability at all if it isn't...

I'm also using a p4s8x with the 9700 only i have a P4 2.53. I had some lock ups in games but my biggest issue is getting the card to run a bus speed of 4x or 8x???? I figured thats why it was locking up. Any ideas on how I can fix that!? btw it only took me a week to get windows on this system (prolly because of the board). I also have an enermax 550 watt powersupply.
