Asus GF4 Ti 4200 128Mb Mem clock speed?

Hey Guys,
I bought an Asus Vid card (not the deluxe model) and after checking the mem clock speed it's default is 446 Mhz. Shouldn't it be 444 as per the reference board design? I know it can't hurt it as it can be pushed to 520 but I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this.

This is not out of the ordinary.

Some companies set slightly different clock speeds for like cards. Nobody really knows why. At least, I don't anyway. Maybe Asus feels confident enough in their product to up the ram 2 mhz. They are a quality company after all.
