Damn i hate lag.... I made a game today with my level 91 sorc and was
transferring stuff.. She dropped 5 Flawless Gems, 8 low Runes (i trans any
rune i find) and a Shael (ok rune not a low to me)... I also dropped a
Colossus Voulge with 4 sockets.
I drop out and bring in my Rune mule first. Pick up the Colossus Voulge. It
was clearly in my inventory. Started to click on the runes and the game
lagged up. Next thing i know, I am booted to out of the game. I try to
re-enter the game, nothing. ARGH! The game was non-exsistant. I eventually
get my rune mule into a game and what is there... Nothing but what he had.
The Colossus Voulge and other runes weren't there in his inventory. I was
pissed... I hate lag.

A tip about when your lagged - do not start doing stuff repeatedly
during a lag but wait for it to pass as often that can cause you to
be booted, for example repeatedly clicking a stat/skill upgrade.
Im not saying that is the case here but its one of the causes of
being booted.

Same here. Froze up for 30 seconds or so and then all machines showed "Lost
connection to bnet" at the same time. Then the game I was in didn't exist
anymore. Hence that server was down as the game was well and truly 'permed'
and should have persisted for five minutes. You having the same problem at
about the same time means that either we were both on the same server (high
odds against) or there was a major re-set at Bnet.
