Just finished installing my <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage.asp?image=14-122-144-01.JPG/14-122-144-02.JPG/14-122-144-03.JPG" target="_new">new card</A>. Everything seemed to go ok.
I just ran 3dMark2001SE and I'm just curious.
Here's my setup for reference:
AMD Athlon XP 1500+
512mb Crucial PC2100
40gb Maxtor 7200rpm
Geforce 2 MX400 64mb(old)
Geforce 4 Ti4200 64mb(new)
Windows XP Home
Ok, I was getting around 2733 with my old card(default clocks).
I just got 8377 with my new Ti4200. BTW, it was awesome to finally be able to see the nature demo. Gorgeous! Is this an average score? I can't use the online browser right now, it's not working. Plus, you never know who OC'd there cards. Mine was at default(250/500).
Keep in mind I used the drivers that Leadtek gave me. I'm sure my score will improve a little with the Det40.71 drivers. Right?
That score seems right. Without overclocking I'm running in the 9300's with the 30.82 drivers installed. Remember my vid card is a little slower because it's the 128 mb model (250/446 I know reference is 444 but mine's at 446)
I just installed the Det 40.72 drivers. My score went up 702 points from 8377 to 9079! Of course this has alot to do with that fact that my nature was 63.0fps. But who cares, right?
