Is this online gaming. Is it similar to Civilisation - like a sim kinda game - ie a cross between the computer game Sim city and the board game Risk.

I used to play it. Then i went back to counter strike on Counter Strike im know as RcF84-[iM3].

Nice Nvidia and ATi users get a Cookie.... :smile: Yummy :smile:

Tribes 2 is a FPS, but on a large scale, with vehicles.

i got i but the machine it is one doesn't have internet acsses at the time do to the fact that it doesn't have a modem and the machine that does only 16 mb vidoe card that can't play it.
i'll tell you me name once i get to actual get becuase haven't be able to sign up do to the fact of no internet scesses on that machine it will proablly be wapaaga or wapacz but that won't be for anohter 2 weeks

I added you, but haven't seen you online yet. Just got a joystick and the game Crimson Skies, been playing that a bit. Fun game.

I have that game too, you should download the allied assult medal of honor demo from gamespy, that game rocks.

I started downloading it to test my cable connection, but stopped it. I'll download it again, since the AvP2 demo sucked.

Ok clue number two - is it similar to Command and Conquer - Cos that game is wicked - I mean I played it for a full solid day - my eyes turned square and I had major difficulty driving home cos I couldn't focus on anything. Top game. Just love sitting there builing bases and armies and crushing the evil tyrants of the....

Erm sorry just love that gaem.

Think of Tribes 2 as the same game, but in the future and from the perspective of one of the soldiers.

You need a CD key to play, so downloading it won't work.

Matisaro, ISOs are no safer than normal files, as you can crack one open and change the executable.

Yes you can, but the odds of that are lower than a 250meg.exe called tribes 2 being the real tribes 2 heh.

Also, with an iso I can browse the cd burnt and check for virii, before installing, something i cant do with a weird exe.

And I could just replace the setup .exe in the ISO with a virus, and you wouldn't know until it was too late.

.ISOs are safer, but not a whole lot safer.

I've played Tribes since version 1. I was on team Raging Angels for a couple years, then moved to Tribes 2. I don't play much these days as I'm very busy with work, but you may see me now and then. I play as Mavicator.
