i have a college project. the project is to build a server that streams mp3's and it has to be a linux os. whats the best prog to use to stream mp3s? how can i configure the prog to stream mp3's. i have no knowledge using linux or how to streaming mp3's. if anyone has built this, is there any feedback you can give me as to what to look out for, or what to watch out for. any info would be great. suse/RH9...etc...anything....thanks

Try a linux site. Those are the people who write the actual code you're looking for :)

Ask around at various linux forums and they'll point you to the website for the software you want where you can get all the support you'll ever need.
