I am interested in buying the ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 8500, the main thing I want this card is for the replay TV option. I have digital cable and a great 5.1 Dolby Digital sound system, so my problem will be how do I send the sound to my home theatre system. I have already tried to hookup my sound blaster card to my receiver and the quality was awful.

This all the information I found on the ATI website:
Actual Dolby® 5.1 AC-3 decoding is done by the external AC-3 decoder which is not included. There is also mention of (S/PDIF) audio out port. But I have had no luck with (S/PDIF) audio out port, my sound card has one, but where do I buy a cable and will it work with my Receiver.
My Receiver has a Dolby® 5.1 AC-3 decoder, I just need to send the sound hopefully through a Coax Cable.

Note: I have been successful sending sound from my PC to my receiver with my Dxr3 Decoder Board with a Coax cable.

Thank you for your help.
Gunnar

SP/DIF (Sony/Pillips Digital Interface) is the proper name for what's refered to as Digital Coaxial by the home stereo industry. As long as your stereo has that, you're OK.

Thanks Crashman,
My receiver Yamaha HTR-5250 has Digital Signal (Coaxial ).
Where do I buy the connecting cable and how is the sound quality?

I think you can use a standard RCA cable, of course the best would be a high end Oxygen Free Copper cable. Anyway, the sound quality should be as high as possible because you're dealing with a digital signal.
