Just curious, as it seems some people have an abundance of the rings. Would
like to get some for some of my characters and would like to try my hand at
facing the Uber Diablo.

I don't think there is a specific place 'best' for finding SOJ's. Hell
Baal blessed my necro with one a while back.

best place for a unique ring to drop (potenial soj)
is from hell andarial, highest %chance there

I believe NM Andy and Meph have the best chances of dropping an SOJ

Drop rate of "Hell Bovine" to drop a ring: 0.30926385%
(Data taken from www.d2data.net)
With this information taken into consideration, I would think the best
places to find SoJ's would be in NM-Cow games with maximum amount of players
and a high MF on killer.
With a drop rate of 0.30926385% for a ring... just 324 cows should be your
average ring-find amount (which is more than doable in every cow game).
Ofcourse wether or not the ring is unique/rare/set/magic all depends on your
MF amount from there ;¬)

Although its true that Hell-Andy has the best chance to drop a ring... and
can drop SoJ...
Your forgetting that there is only 1 Anderial per game.. and around 500
NM-Cows.
Multiplying the NM-Cows odds to drop a ring by even just 342 NM-Cows gives
an average of ring-find of just over 100%... if you dont get a ring in a cow
game then your probably VERY unlucky and should be almost guarenteed one
next time ;¬)
I'd like to add that a max-players NM-Cow game would be best though... as
more cows will drop items so more chances that a ring will drop ;¬)

It's been generally accepted that nightmare andy is the best place to farm
for SoJ's. After quest drop she has the highest chance of dropping it. So if
you are going to run it repeatedly then nm Andy is the one. Here's the
report from indiablo.de for the top 15 calculations. I went with 1player/0%

If you want to find a SOJ, then try MFing in D2 (not LOD). I farmed NM
Meph in classic D2 and found 2 soj's that way.
