Bot questions

Does anyone here have any knowledge of, or a link to, information relevant
to Blizzard's stance on the use of botting scripts for game play on the
realms? I would like to try my hand at creating a script of some sort to
keep my mules active. If anyone has any alternate suggestions, I would
welcome them, as well.

TIA

They've been pretty consistent that anything that meets the general
definition of being a Bot is generally forbidden.

Not that they keep their promises up, down, or sideways...

Blizzards official stance on any bot that is able to be used in games is
"Naughty, naughty... thats against our ToS and we will ban your CD key if we
find it!"

This also applies to spam-bots in games, etc (or so I've been told by a
blizz rep in Blizz-tech-support channel).

There are already bots/scripts out there that idle your character though...
but their use is prohibitated.
(as is JHJs-Maphack, Mousepads-Maphack, D2JSP, JHJ-Pindlebot, BotNet, etc,
etc... the list could go on forever)

Your best bet if you want any of these programs is to search google... and
make sure to run an AV (Antivirus) and Firewall to catch the myrid of
trojans & keyloggers that are normally packaged with them by "hackers" (Lame
kids with a program who couldn't hack to save their life).
