GeForce 2 Ti or GF 4 MX

Hi,

I would like to know which card is better: an Elsa Gladiac 512 GeForce 2 Ti (350/400) or a GeForce 4 MX 440. It´s for a friend, I´m going to put together a system for him soon.

He wants to play games (3d, like UT2k3 and Fifa 2003). Which one is best for his budget (´cuz does have a budget...)

For the $50 range, there's a very good chance you'll get better results with the Ati cards.

Like a 7500.

The Geforce2 Ti is basically a geforce3, but it's been castrated. They are using the smaller die size, but flipping off all the new features.

To be honest, there is very, very little difference between the GF4mx and the GF2ti. You'll see the GF4 winout on games like UT2k3, but just a little. On any "older" games (say directx 7.0 and under), there will be no difference at all.
