Maya4.5 with a GeForce 4?

I am looking for a new graphic card for my new PC. I looked up the system requirements for Maya4.5 at the AliasWavefront site (http://www.aliaswavefront.com/en/Community/Support/qualified_hardware/QUAL/maya_45_NT.html;$sessionid$BI3ZYLAAACDUVQCLCVBRT4Q). They say the GeForce 3 card is not qualified, but nothing is said about the GeForce 4 card.
Does anyone know more about this combination or does anyone have experience on Maya4.5 with a GeForce 4?
Only thing I know yet is that a friend of my told me he has Maya4.0 running on a GeForce 3 without any problems, where the site also says that the GeForce 3 is not qualified for Maya 4.0.

g4sti4600 no problem with maya4.5 but wonder ati 9700 pro.

what do you think about the geforce4 ti4400?
