error (c0000005) any idea?

My Necro is stuck in NM Act 4.

Every time I try to take the portal to Act 5 the game crashes

Any idea?

I tried to get rid of the extra hellforge hammer I had but it didn't
change anything

Oooops I meant Unhandled Exception
Access Violation error (c0000005)

I tried killing Diablo again and that didn't work either I still can't
go through the portal to act 5

Would hate to lose a lvl 75 necro even if it's single

Another option would be to reinstall everything but I'd rather have
other options first

maybe the char is corrupted I should have kept a back up

Problem solved: a glitch with my CD Image and CD Emulator I suppose
since it worked when I put the real CD in
