.... if you get no more than 235% ed from 4 rolls of Oath (210-340) in an
ethereal Feral Axe?

Jog my memory, how does one "reroll" an item? Am I correct in saying
that "rerolling" means getting a new copy of that item with probably
slightly modified stats?

Also, there is something similar to this where you can put 3 pgems in
with an item and add a socket?

Just because a web page says the range is 210-340, it doesn't mean each
value is equally likely to get. It could be that higher ranges are
harder to get (less likely). Just like rolling twelve on two dice or
eighteen on three is less likely.

I have no idea how these runeword random mods are calculated, but I'd
accept my theory just as easily as a theory that the software is buggy.
Software bugs have been the "Sun God" of misunderstood behavior, rightly so.

3 pgems and a blue item in cube is a re-roll on the item. See google for
many explanations about this.

The other writers in this thread were, I believe, referring to the "Hel
rune + teleport scroll + socketed item" cube recipe (google is again
your friend) that allows you to remove gems/runes from a the socketed
item (you lose the socketed runes/gems, but you can re-socket).

It's used by the rune-rich :) to try to get a better set of mods. BTW,
on ladder or realms, never cube up Hel runes to higher level (Io). You
can trade them or use them yourself for this recipe. I had someone offer
me 1-1 Io for Hel once... lol...

333%ED = 160-796 damage on my one (SP with runeword patch).
