Hello
I have an Asus P4S8X motherboard, an Asus V8420/TD VGA card and win 2000 pro.
I need to know if the motherboard and VGA card above will really work correctly together. The AGP on the motherboard is 1.5 volts. The manual that comes with the V8420/TD VGA card states it requires 3.3 volts to work. I have been reading forums all over the web to try and find the info. I have only found total confusion, some people say the manual has a missprint, some say the VGA card is dual voltage and some suggest that Asus technical support staff don't even know the answer. Does anybody on this planet have the CORRECT answer and not an asumption. I wish Asus and the other main component producers could supply the correct information on their homepages (what the AGP voltage is and the VGA card voltage is).
