If they had made some of the elite, class-specific sets worth completing.
From what I hear, Trang's isn't that great for Summoner's and Aldur's is
just plain worthless. Why not make these worth the effort to find?
Better yet, how about multiple class-specific elite sets for the various
builds?

How about retargetable mods on uber items or sets? For example, the
first time a char equips the full Tal Rasha's set the game asks where
you want to assign an additional +2 skills modifier: fire, ice, or
lightning. Once you decide, that character forever has that mod. In
this way the set would mould to your style. I'm sure that popping up a
little dialog box would be trivial. Adding the information on the
user's choice might be a bit tricky, The end result would be fun,
however, would it not?

Change the Anya quest reward to another socket. Getting your name on a
piece of equipment is bollocks!
