This is the first time I am playing through the game, but I just want
to verify if this happened after 1.11 or if it is normal. I played LOD
1.10 and reached Trivinicle (or whatever it is called) and destroyed
the high council in Act III. I smashed the compelling orb and the door
to the labyrinth where Mephisto is opens. Now I stopped there and
installed 1.11 and came back today and went through Kurast and
Trivinicle again. What I noticed is that all the people from the
Zakarum order flee from me. They do not attack and if I get close they
run away. Only the sorceress types that shoot lightning and blizzards
attack at times, but that is it. All other monsters attack just fine.
Does that always happen once you smash the compelling orb and kill the
high council or is it a bug in 1.11 or my game?

Those Zealots always just run away, unless they are cornered. They do
this so you will follow them and get swarmed by the next horde.

I swear they used to charge at me like crazy. Now they just walk
around, don't attack and if I come close they run. I did a fresh
install and will verify if it still happens. It is much different than
it was before.

You know the expression "you can't fight City Hall"? You not only
*fought* City Hall, you *slaughtered* them. From now on (in that
difficulty), the Cops will run from you. The Priests and the animals
will still attack. It's their nature.

Like Brian said, once you kill the Council, the Zealots are permanently on
the run from you!

They charge you until you defeat the council then they will
always run away.This applies to players individually so they
may run away from one player in your party but charge another
depending on wether they've previously done quest or not.

Thanks for the clarification, I thought it was a 1.11 bug at first, but
then I encountered other enemies that attacked. After a fresh install
it still did the same thing, hehe.
