I just installed a MSI G4Ti4400-VTD in my system and so far I am very impressed.
For a long time I have used ATI cards but I have become too tired with their paper releases and huge price differences between cards.
In Canada a Radeon 9700PRO retails for $650 and the card below a Radeon 9000PRO retails for $180. I didn't feel like waiting until December before the 9500 series shows up. Plus I read ATI will not be making the 9500PRO card. It will be sold by other card manufactures like Power Color.
Anyway I tried to get an ASUS built GF4 Ti4400 but none were available at the store I shop at so I bought the MSI GF4 Ti4400.
The card works well and without any overclocking I'm getting really good scores in 3DMark2001SE. Over 12200!
I was getting over 8300 with the ATI 9000PRO and over 9800 with the ATI 8500.
I was surprised I didn't have any problems with conflicting drivers. I removed all the ATI drivers, programs and file folders from my computer. Updated the registry and installed the card, drivers and programs.
The MSI package came with a shitload of games and utilities. 90% of which I will never use.
Link to the card I bought.

So back to my question. What do THGC members think about MSI cards and the Nvidia GeForce4 Ti4400 GPU?
Sorry. I dont have a Ti4400 but I do have a PNY Ti4600. It works flawlessly. Im not getting the bencmark numbers you are though. 11000 here. 2200+, 512 DDR 2700 ram, Gigabyte 7VRXP mobo, Augity sound, WD 800BB HD. Nothing is over clocked. Oh yea almost forgot, Win 98SE. Sorry I couldn't help more. If you can help me with how you are getting you bench mark #, I would be greatful. Take care.
