I bought a sony vaio 14" E series laptop, asked the shop to remove window 7 basic and install windows 7 ultimate os. The technician did that, created 3 partions and installed os on c drive. The d drive and e drive are ver large. Can i further partition d drive without disturbing c drive, to install linux os in the new partition?
Yes, Windows 7 will allow you to adjust the size of any partition on any drive attached to the computer without disturbing any of the data. To make the adjustments you want, open the Disk Management wizard by going to the Start menu, and typing in "diskmgmt.msc".
