The unisnstall program for the application is malfunctioning somehow. You may need to uninstall it manually by deleting files and remove references from the registry.

nope no need for that, sorry for posting this... i shoulda just read before i posted... but now this might help someone else.. Basically Windows XP has a problem with certain Visual Styles and StyleXP... basically go to this site and you will get fixed right up...
