hi
i'm in SP only so i was just wandering if there are bad sides to 1.11
patch? like 1.10 cutting strafe to 3/4 weapon damage.

and does the mod for playing the uber tristram aslo include the uber diablo?

can u get anihilus and torch in SP with that mod?

i have currently mod that allows all runewords in SP. if i install uber
tristram mod will it block realm runewords since all the mods i have
seen change patch.mpq file and the all runewords mod is just a patch.mpq
file.

Well, one downside that I can see is that you can't run the Chaos Empire mod
on 1.11, at least not yet. I didn't realize that until I had connected to
BNet on all my computers...I would have left one off for CE had I known
this. Now I have to reinstall to get back to 1.10.

Chaos Empire is not and will never become 1.11 compatible.
There's too much coding involved, too little coding (assembly hacking)
skills, and too little reward since 1.11 is so underwhelming.

Try taking a look at Requiem of Sorrow at
http://www.planetdiablo.com/talonrage/. A large chunk of the Chaos Empire
mods came from the TalonRage plugins (the last splash screen when you
launched CE even displayed "TalonRage" at the top). I haven't tested the
newest version yet, but he claims to have it working on a 1.11 install.

Only some bugfies and the new "Hellfire Quest" (Realm only)

Fixed in 1.11, yes.

CE addressed the bug by making the boots cary charges to bone wall, not
bone prison.

One new bug I've noticed- when moving in inside temples (like claw viper)
and creatures open the doors to come out, I can fight them, but my
character (high level zon) can't enter the open doorway and go into that
room. I can cast valk and decoy inside. The door "acts" open in the sense
that I can't click on it and open it (that was an old bug in the catecombs,
where a door would look open but you still had to click to open it). There
is absoloutely no way I can get in by myself, when I am with groups they
have to put up a tp just inside the door and I have to tp back to town just
to go a few inches on the screen.
Bleh.

I had the problem in 1.10 alot, specifically in the maggot lair. The trick I
used that worked to open them easily was walk all the way at the door (click
past it) then click on it.. then the door opens every time, you just have to
be right up on it.. stupid bug. and they supposedly fixed the diablo seals
bug (where it would take 5 mins to open a seal for no reason) stills seems
to happen.. pretty ghetto
